BetBuilder: build your own bet

A goalscorer, a number of corners, both teams finding the net: within a single match, several ideas often go together. This tool puts them on one slip, with a single set of odds for the whole thing, and you decide what goes on it.
This guide shows how to build one at Golden Vegas Sport, how its odds are set, what it adds to a boosted accumulator and the rules that decide the outcome. The worked examples were recorded on 25 September 2026, on Italy v Belgium in the Nations League.
What is the BetBuilder?
It is a particular kind of accumulator: every leg comes from the same match. Where a standard accumulator spans several fixtures, this one brings together several markets from one — the winner, the number of goals, a scorer, corners — on a slip with a single set of odds.
The ground rule is the accumulator's: the slip only wins if every selection does. What changes is the scale. The whole reading bears on one fixture, broken down into several calls that hang together.
The tool is offered on five sports: football, American football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey. Football remains the one with the most markets, and so the widest range of combinations.
Building a BetBuilder, ready-made or your own
Fast BetBuilder
A tab on the match page with combinations already put together, sortable by odds band or by team.
Activate the BetBuilder
A switch at the top of the match page, so you choose every selection yourself.
On a match page, two routes lead to the same product. The first is the Fast BetBuilder tab: combinations already put together, which you simply add to your slip. On the day of recording, Italy v Belgium had 82 of them, sortable by odds band — from under 2.00 to over 5.00 — or by team.
These combinations usually pair two or three markets: goals, corners, cards, scorer, both teams to score. "Over 0.5 goals for Belgium" and "over 2.5 corners for Belgium" made up a slip at odds of 1.50, for instance.
The second route is the switch that activates the BetBuilder, at the top of the match page. Once it is on, you build the slip yourself, from two selections upwards, out of the fixture's markets. It is the most flexible version of the tool, and the best suited to your own reading of a game, for example in the Belgian league when you know the sides well.
How the odds on a slip are worked out
The natural instinct is to multiply the odds. For Italy v Belgium, "over 2.5 goals" was 1.62 and "both teams to score" 1.53: played separately in a standard accumulator, they would come to 2.48. Put together on a slip of this kind, they get odds of their own, worked out differently.
Over 2.5 goals (1.62) × Both teams to score (1.53) = 2.48. Italy v Belgium, 25 September 2026. Put together in a BetBuilder, these two selections get odds of their own, worked out differently.
The reason lies in the probability each set of odds expresses, a principle covered in our guide to reading decimal odds. Between two different matches the results are independent, so multiplying is right. Within a single fixture that no longer holds: a game with three or more goals is, very often, also a game in which both sides have scored.
The slip's odds take that link into account. When two selections tend to happen together, the combined odds stay below their product; when they have nothing to do with each other, they come close to it. That is why every combination in the Fast BetBuilder shows odds of its own rather than a straight multiplication.
BetBuilder and Opti Odds: what it takes to boost an accumulator
This slip can also go into a wider accumulator, alongside other bets. It counts there as a single leg, at its overall odds.
That is what opens it up to the accumulator booster Opti Odds, which lifts the odds of an accumulator as you add bets to it. Three conditions apply: at least three bets on the slip, no more than eight, and odds of 1.60 or higher on each one.
- The slip has at least 3 bets
- No more than 8
- Each bet is priced at 1.60 or more
- The BetBuilder takes up one place
It is therefore the overall odds that must reach 1.60. The goals-and-corners combination for Belgium, at 1.50, would fall short; everything in the 2.00 to 3.00 band clears the bar, as do several combinations shown under 2.00, from 1.68 upwards.
The BetBuilder rules at Golden Vegas
Three rules frame the product. First, a BetBuilder is built before kick-off: it is not offered once the match is under way, and in-play markets remain available as standard bets.
Second, it only wins if all of its selections win. A single losing selection brings the whole thing down, exactly as in an accumulator.
Third, it cannot be settled early: cash out is not offered on this format. That is a common constraint for this type of bet, whose odds rest on several linked events within one match.
One match or several: which kind of slip to choose
The three formats answer different ideas, and the choice depends on what you want to cover.
BetBuilder | Accumulator | System | |
|---|---|---|---|
What it combines | Several markets from one match | One bet per match, across several matches | Several accumulators drawn from the same selections |
Minimum selections | 2 | 2 | 3 |
The odds | Worked out for the whole, links between selections included | Product of each bet's odds | One set of odds per combination |
If one selection loses | The slip is lost | The slip is lost | Combinations without that selection can still win |
The stake | Just one | Just one | One per combination |
Combining several markets from one fixture suits a precise reading of a single match. As soon as your idea spans several games, it becomes an accumulator; if you want one mistake not to cost the whole slip, a system bet is the answer. Each format is set out on our page for betting on football online.
Your questions about BetBuilder
Two, chosen from the same match. No maximum is published: how many selections are possible depends mostly on the markets open for the fixture.
The whole slip is voided, not just the selection concerned. The slip never carries on with one selection fewer.
No, tennis is not among the five sports covered. For a tennis match, the markets remain available as singles or in an accumulator.
Yes, as long as it meets the conditions of the offer in question: minimum odds, eligible competitions, validity period. Those conditions are set out on each promotion.
