Coupe de France semifinals: without PSG, who will lift the trophy?
The semi-finals of the French domestic cup France mark an unexpected turning point this season. PSG's elimination in the round of 32 — the first time in twelve years — changes everything and opens the door to a brand new winner.
Without the usual Parisian dominance, the remaining clubs can now dream bigger. Caught between historic opportunity and maximum pressure, this final four promises to be unpredictable in every sense when it comes to football tournament dynamics.
GoldenVegas Sport, Belgium's online betting platform, has rounded up the four remaining clubs. Will it be Lens, Nice, Strasbourg or Toulouse who lifts the most coveted trophy in French football?

A first-ever cup for RC Lens?
It has already been a remarkable season for them. Battling for the Ligue 1 title against PSG, RC Lens are right in the mix. Just one point behind the Parisians with four games to go, the northern side have another — arguably more achievable — target firmly in their sights.
For the first time in their history, they could lift the domestic cup France. And after the previous round, there is nowhere left to hide. By eliminating Olympique Lyonnais on their own patch, the Stade Bollaert outfit have become the clear frontrunners in every cup competition analysis put forward by the bookmakers — particularly following the surprise exits of bigger clubs earlier in the season.
The road to the final could not be more inviting. All the more so as they will host Toulouse at home. Will logic prevail? Or could there be a massive upset, given that Toulouse have the experience of big occasions, having won the competition back in 2023? We find out this Tuesday.

Before Conference League, can they add another trophy?
In the other semi-final, the contest looks equally lopsided, pitting Racing Strasbourg against OGC Nice. Sitting just above the relegation zone, the Côte d'Azur side have their minds firmly on Ligue 1 survival.
For Strasbourg, everything is clicking into place. In a matter of weeks, they will have the chance to contest the first European semi-final in their history, taking on Rayo Vallecano in the Conference League semi finals.
So why not pull off an improbable double? Appetite grows with eating, and having already won the domestic cup France on three occasions (1951, 1966, 2001), Mike Penders and his teammates want to win everything in sight. With the 2026 World Cup just around the corner, that would be a truly extraordinary achievement for our Red Devil.
