Definitions
- Bet Slip: the “coupon” containing the information registered by the Player. It can contain one or more Bets.
- Single Bet Slip or Single Bet: a Bet Slip that contains only one Bet. If the Bet chosen by the Player is correct, the corresponding Bet Slip will also be correct. The winnings of a Single Bet Slip are calculated by multiplying the stake by the odds linked to the chosen Bet.
- Combination Bet Slip or Combination Bet: a Bet Slip that contains 2 to 8 different Bets which must all be correct for the Bet Slip to be correct. If a single Bet is incorrect, the entire Combination Bet Slip is incorrect. The notion of “Combination” also shows in the calculation of the total odds on the Bet Slip and its potential winnings. - The winnings are calculated by multiplying your stake by the product of all the odds contained in the Bet Slip. If one of the Bets on a Combination Bet Slip is canceled by PLAY N BET SRL, the winnings are calculated on the basis of the remaining Bets if they are all winning bets.
Example: A Player bets €5 that Standard will beat Anderlecht (odds = 1.5) and (in combination) that Bruges will beat Liverpool (odds = 2) in football. The final odds are 1.5 x 2 = 3 and the total winnings are €15 (€5 x 1.5 x 2) if both Standard and Bruges win. If Anderlecht wins and Bruges draws, the Bet is lost.
Example: The Player bets €5 that Standard will beat Anderlecht (odds = 1.5) and (in combination) that Bruges will beat Liverpool (odds = 2) and (in combination) that Marseille will beat Toulouse (odds = 2.5).
The final odds are 1.5 x 2 x 2.5 = 7.5 and the total winnings are €37.5 (€5 x 1.5 x 2 x 2.5) if Standard, Bruges and Marseille win. If the Standard match is canceled, the Bet will only be valid for the Bruges and Marseille matches. In this case, the final odds will be 2 x 2.5 = 5 and the total winnings €25 (€5 x 2 x 2.5) if both Bruges and Marseille win.
- System Bet Slip or System Bet: a special Bet Slip that contains a selection of 3 to 8 different Bets.
It’s the most “complete” Bet Slip offered by the Website. In fact, on a System Bet Slip, a Player can accumulate the equivalent of multiple Bet Slips based on the Player’s selection. The Player can bet on combinations or partial combinations.
With 3 Bets on a Bet Slip, the Player can make 1 Combination Bet Slip combining all 3 Bets, and 3 “Double Partial Combination” Bet Slips, each containing a different combination of 2 Bets.
With 4 Bets on the Bet Slip, the Player can make 1 Combination Bet Slip combining all 4 Bets, 6 Double Partial Combination Bet Slips (each containing a different combination of 2 of the 4 Bets) and 4 “Triple Partial Combination” Bet Slips (each containing a different combination of 3 of the 4 Bets). And so on...
For each line (doubles, triples, etc.), the Player’s stake is multiplied by the number of possible results. For example, if you have 6 Bets on your Bet Slip and you decide to bet on a “Quadruple” line, your stake will be multiplied by 15 (as it’s possible to make 15 different combinations of 4 Bets from a selection of 6 Bets).
- Special System Bet Slips or special System Bets: Under the System Bet Slip tab, you can bet on special systems, i.e., sets of predefined combinations with an equivalent stake for each one.
Precise definitions below:
As such, for a selection of 3 Bets, the Website gives you the option to bet stakes on 4 different Trixie combinations at once.
For a selection of 4 Bets, you can select “Yankee”, which includes 11 different combinations. And so on…
- Trixie: system formed from a selection of 3 Bets comprising 3 double combinations and 1 triple combination (4 stakes in total). At least two Bets must be correct in order for the Player to get any winnings. The exact amount of the winnings will depend on the number of correct Bets.
- Yankee: system formed from a selection of 4 Bets comprising 6 double combinations, 4 triple combinations and 1 quadruple combination (11 stakes in total). At least two Bets must be correct in order for the Player to get any winnings. The exact amount of the winnings will depend on the number of correct Bets.
- Canadian: system formed from a selection of 5 Bets comprising 10 double combinations, 10 triple combinations, 5 quadruple combinations and 1 quintuple combination (26 stakes in total). At least two Bets must be correct in order for the Player to get any winnings. The exact amount of the winnings will depend on the number of correct Bets.
- Heinz: system formed from a selection of 6 Bets comprising 15 double combinations, 20 triple combinations, 15 quadruple combinations, 6 quintuple combinations and 1 sextuple combination (57 stakes in total). At least two Bets must be correct in order for the Player to get any winnings. The exact amount of the winnings will depend on the number of correct Bets.
- Super Heinz: system formed from a selection of 7 Bets comprising 21 double combinations, 35 triple combinations, 35 quadruple combinations, 21 quintuple combinations, 7 sextuple combinations and 1 septuple combination (120 stakes in total). At least two Bets must be correct in order for the Player to get any winnings. The exact amount of the winnings will depend on the number of correct Bets.
- Goliath: system formed from a selection of 8 Bets comprising 28 double combinations, 56 triple combinations, 70 quadruple combinations, 56 quintuple combinations, 28 sextuple combinations, 8 septuple combinations and 1 octuple combination (247 stakes in total). At least two Bets must be correct in order for the Player to get any winnings. The exact amount of the winnings will depend on the number of correct Bets.
- Bet on virtual event: Bets on virtual events are placed at fixed odds. The event’s outcome will depend on the result generated by a certified Random Number Generator (RNG).
- Bet on Simulated Reality League (SRL): fixed-odds Bet. The event’s outcome will depend on the result generated by a certified Random Number Generator (RNG).
- Tournament: competition organized on the basis of criteria predefined by the operator and available for consultation in the dedicated menu under the “Tournaments” tab on the Website.
Submitting a Bet Slip
Bet Slips are submitted by staking a specific amount at the Player’s discretion and by confirming the Bet Slip. The total stake entered on the Bet Slip is immediately debited from the Player Account.
If the Player Account is insufficiently funded to stake the chosen amount, the Player will not be able to register the requested Bet Slip.
Once accepted, a Bet Slip cannot be canceled. The Player must make sure that the information regarding Bets placed is accurate.
The Player shall be solely responsible for checking the Bet Slip.
The Player expressly and irrefutably approves and accepts all the data shown on the Bet Slip, which cannot be contested by the Player unless the Player requests cancellation of the Bet Slip.
The euro is the sole currency accepted for placing Bets on the Website. All Bet selections are subject to predefined limits determined solely at the discretion of PLAY N BET SRL
Players are required to place their Bets in an individual capacity.
Potential winnings depend on the stake and the odds offered and may be viewed instantly. After the Bet is placed, the Player will be notified of the result as soon as possible and the winnings, if any, will be credited to the Player Account.
If the result is incorrect and the Player has been notified of a win, PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to make the necessary corrections without prior notice or compensation.
Error correction
All odds are subject to change and will become final for the Player at the time when the Bet is placed. Notwithstanding, PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right, at any time, to correct obvious errors in entering the odds or to cancel Bets placed on the basis of odds featuring obvious errors.
PLAY N BET SRL accepts no liability for any obvious error in displaying the odds, results or any other information, and the Player cannot claim any compensation in respect of such errors.
“Error” means a mistake, typing error, misinterpretation, misunderstanding, misreading, anomaly, spelling mistake, technical issue, submission error, transaction error, translation or transcription error, obvious error, force majeure event and/or similar items. Errors include, without limitation:
- stakes accepted during or related to the occurrence of a technical problem which would otherwise not have been accepted;
- stakes on events or Bet offers for which the result is already known;
- stakes on events for which the participants (or their order or roles in the event) are incorrectly stated;
- stakes on odds substantially different from the odds available on the events when the Bet was placed;
- Bet offers for which the odds reflect a situation (particularly in terms of a game or score) that is incorrect or different;
- odds that are clearly incorrect according to the probability that an event will take place at the time the Bet is placed.
Limitation of stakes
The maximum and minimum stake amounts authorized for all Bets are set by PLAY N BET SRL or its subcontractors, who reserve the right to revise them without notice, including by restricting the amount of an individual or collective stake per Bet and/or per day and/or per month.
PLAY N BET SRL also reserves the right to impose specific limitations at any time on specific Player Accounts or during specific events. PLAY N BET SRL or its subcontractors are entitled to limit the maximum stake or the odds on special events, as well as to limit or increase the maximum stake or odds for a given Player without giving prior notice or providing an explanation.
If a Player places one or more Bets for which the total potential winnings exceed the fixed winnings limit, PLAY N BET SRL may automatically reduce the amount of the stake as far as is required to comply with the winnings limit, and may do so at any time including after the announcement of the result.
Any Player suspected of fraud, connivance or unlawful or improper activity may have their stakes limited, in addition to any measures implemented by PLAY N BET SRL in respect of the Player’s Player Account under the conditions provided for by the GTU.
Late Bets
If, for any reason whatsoever, a Bet is placed after the start of the competition, it will be declared void and the amount staked by the Player for the Bet shall be reimbursed. The same applies to Bets on competitions for which the result is already known when the Bet is placed. This provision does not apply to “live” Bets offered by PLAY N BET SRL
Any objection raised by a Player as to the exact time when the competition started must be based on the official information issued by the organizers of the competition confirming the exact starting time. If the Player is unable to provide such evidence or information issued by the competition organizers, the starting time registered by PLAY N BET SRL shall apply and shall be deemed the sole valid time in respect of Bets registered for this competition.
Return
If a “Return” is announced in respect of a given Bet, this means that the Bet is a winning bet at odds of “1”.
In the case of a Single Bet Slip, this means that the Player recovers the amount of their stake. In the case of Combination and System Bet Slips, the total odds will be adjusted to make allowance for the “Return” announcement in respect of the relevant competition.
Suspension or cancellation of an event
An event shall be deemed suspended in case of interruption when the minimum play period for the competition in question has not been reached.
If the event is definitively suspended, it will be deemed to have been canceled and the amount staked by the Player for this Bet shall be reimbursed.
Moreover, if an event is descheduled or postponed, the corresponding Bets will, where applicable, be maintained for a certain period following the event’s initially scheduled starting time, in accordance with the applicable rules for the Bet in question.
a. Pre-match Bets
- A Bet that takes effect after an event has begun;
- A Bet that takes effect after an associated event has taken place and where the conditions could have been directly and irrefutably altered.
b. Live bets
- Bets placed at an incorrect price due to delayed live coverage or a breakdown of live coverage;
- Bets placed on special submissions after they have taken place or after an event that could normally be considered as leading to the result has taken place or is in progress (e.g., Bets placed on submissions such as “total goals scored” or “next goal” when a penalty is taken or has been awarded);
- Bets placed on odds corresponding to a score different from the actual score.
Changes in the start time of an event
If the start time of an event is changed, all Bets on this event shall be reimbursed, unless otherwise provided in these Betting and Sports Rules.
Changes in event location
If an event is relocated to a ground considered as “neutral”, Bets shall remain valid with no change to the odds. On the other hand, if the event is relocated to the ground of the original away team, the amount staked by the Player for the Bet shall be reimbursed.
In events where both teams come from the same town or city and the match is relocated to another ground in the same town or city, the Bets shall remain valid. In the case of international events, the amounts staked by the Player for the relevant Bet will only be reimbursed if the event is relocated to the original away team’s ground.
Bet results
PLAY N BET SRL will confirm the results of an event on the basis of the official results announced at the end of the competition. Bet calculations will be based on the results published in the “Results” section of the Website. Notwithstanding, PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to determine the final result in the event of contradictory results issued by different official sources or in the case of obvious error.
All claims regarding the accuracy of the results published on the Website must be based on official results (in particular, on the results published on the websites of the official bodies responsible for the event), to the exclusion of all other sources of information.
In some exceptional cases, PLAY N BET SRL or the Bet organizer reserves the right to use video images to determine the final result.
Where more than one team or participant is declared the winner of a competition, the odds for the winnings will be divided by the number of winners.
If an event or tournament is suspended, this shall not affect Bets placed on part of the event or tournament (such as Bets on who will score the next goal or win the next part of the match) if the results of such Bets are already known and the corresponding Bets are deemed terminated.
If a match or event is definitively considered not to have been finished, all Bets placed on such match or event will be canceled and reimbursed unless otherwise provided, including where the results are considered as final after the interruption.
Unless otherwise provided in the Betting and Sports Rules, winning bets shall be determined on the basis of the result announced on the day of the event. Any subsequent changes in the result made by official or disciplinary authorities shall not be taken into account in determining the winning bets.
Collusion and syndicated betting
Players must place their Bets in an individual capacity. If one or more Players attempt to place the same Bet on multiple occasions, the amounts staked and the Bets/Bet Slips are liable to be canceled. Any attempted collusion or intention to participate, directly or indirectly, in acts of collusion in respect of a Bet or to practice syndicated betting is strictly forbidden.
PLAY N BET SRL has the technical resources to identify Bets placed in collusion, which may be deemed void and canceled by PLAY N BET SRL at any time, including after the event.
“Syndicated betting” is an act not authorized by PLAY N BET SRL whereby the holder of a Player Account or parties acting in association with the holder of a Player Account directly or indirectly breach the rules established by PLAY N BET SRL. If it is clear, based on PLAY N BET SRL’s assessment, that the holders of a Player Account are acting in this manner, PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to cancel the Bets and/or defer payment of the Bets until the findings of the inquiry are issued. Such conduct shall constitute fraud or abuse within the meaning of the GTU.
If PLAY N BET SRL has reasonable grounds to suspect that a series of Bets has been placed by a Player or group of Players entailing, within the scope of a Bet, guaranteed gains for the customer(s) regardless of the result, PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to settle the Bets at the exact odds or cancel them.
Competition fraud
In case of suspected fraud, match‐fixing or any other improper conduct that could undermine the integrity of an event or Bet, the event in question will be suspended from the list of events and no further Bets on this event will be confirmed. Bets may be canceled and the stakes reimbursed. PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to suspend access to the Player Account until any inquiry it deems necessary is completed.
Non-participation in a competition
Unless otherwise provided in the Betting and Sports Rules, if a participant is unable to take part in an event for any reason whatsoever, when a Bet concerning said participant has been placed on said event, the Bet shall be deemed valid and the Player’s stake shall be forfeited.
However, Bets will be canceled and reimbursed in the following cases:
- The event or tournament is canceled;
- The event or tournament is declared void;
- The venue of the event has changed under the conditions set out above;
- The event or tournament has been suspended, except as otherwise provided in these Betting and Sports Rules.
For Bets such as “who will be the biggest”, determination of the winning bet requires a result comprising two data items. If one of the participants refuses to take part in the competition or tournament, the amount staked by the Player for this Bet shall be reimbursed.
Cancellation of a Bet
PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right, at its own discretion, to fully or partly cancel a Bet in certain situations, including the following:
- The Bets were offered, placed and/or accepted in error;
- The Bets were placed when the Website was experiencing technical problems and would not otherwise have been accepted by the Bet organizer and/or PLAY N BET SRL;
- In the case of influence betting (an act whereby the holder of a Player Account or parties acting in association with the holder of Player Accounts can directly or indirectly influence the outcome of a meeting or event);
- In the case of syndicated betting;
- In the case of multiple accounts (non-exhaustive list of potential links: similar registration data, links via IP address, similar types of Bet, etc.);
- In the case of an outcome directly or indirectly affected by criminal acts;
- In the case of a public announcement made in connection with a Bet that significantly alters the odds or a public announcement of the results during the period of confirmation or acceptance of the Bets.
Special Bets
In the case of “odd number/even number” Bets, whatever the sport or subject-matter (such as the number of goals/cards played/fouls etc.), if the result is zero, the result of the Bet shall be considered as “even number”.
All Bets on the number of medals awarded during a competition shall be calculated on the basis of the official medal table published at the end of the competition. Any subsequent changes made by the authorities responsible for the competition shall not be taken into account.
All medals won by the members of a national team during a competition shall be counted only once, regardless of the number of sportspersons or participants comprising the team.
Virtual Sports Bets
Virtual Sports Bets are governed by the rules governing physical Sports Bets in the same sports category.
Any markets not covered by our own terms and conditions or whose rules conflict with the Website General Terms of Use and these Betting and Sports Rules shall be governed by the rules set out in the “Information” section of the Virtual Sports Bets page.
Virtual sports are presented online from a computer that generates the results of these sports using a Random Number Generator (RNG) that provides Players with fair chances of winnings.
Players acknowledge and accept that these games are virtual and are operated from servers. Any resemblance to reality, existing names, events or circumstances in these games is purely coincidental.
The RNG Software used has been tested and certified by an independent control body, without recourse against PLAY N BET SRL or its providers and/or subcontractors.
Cash-Out: terms of use
The “Cash Out” feature allows the Player to fully or partly buy back a Bet before the result is known.
Bets available for Cash Out are identified by a thumbnail on the Website. They are defined on a discretionary basis by PLAY N BET SRL
The Cash Out is limited to the amount offered by PLAY N BET SRL and displayed in the relevant section.
The amount offered under the Cash Out feature may vary depending on changes in the odds.
The Cash Out feature is available, at the discretion of PLAY N BET SRL, in pre-match and/or live mode, on Single and Combination Bets. Cash Out is not available for System Bets.
If a Player carries out a partial Cash Out, the balance of the original stake not bought back is placed at the initial odds.
Example: you place a Single Bet of €100 at odds of 3. You are offered full buyback at €200 and the odds are currently 2. You decide to partly buy back your Bet for an amount of €100. You will therefore have bought back half of the offer (€100 out of the €200 offer). Half of your original stake will therefore be placed back at the current odds for the Bet (i.e., €50 at odds of 3).
Players carrying out a partial Cash Out must leave a residual stake of at least €0.50. Meanwhile, the minimum partial buyback is €0.10.
A Cash Out completed by a Player is irrevocable; the Player cannot request for it to be canceled.
PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to disable or suspend the Cash Out feature for a given Bet or Player, without prior notice or explanation.
PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to cancel or refuse a request for a Cash Out if:
- the odds for the corresponding Bet have changed;
- the Cash Out was offered by mistake;
- the result of the corresponding Bet was already known when the Player initiated the Cash Out;
- the Player abuses the Cash Out feature.
PLAY N BET SRL does not warrant the continued availability of the feature, even if the Cash Out option was declared available for the Bet.
PLAY N BET SRL accepts no liability if the Cash Out feature is unavailable for any reason whatsoever, whether technical or otherwise.
The details of a Cash Out option may be viewed in the Bet Slip history.
Sports betting tournament
You must register for the Tournament via the module in order for your Bets to be included in the Tournament ranking. Unless specified otherwise, registration must be completed before the start of the Tournament in order for it to be included.
Registration fees are included in the margins applied to the Bets eligible for each Tournament.
Bets placed prior to registration for the Tournament shall not be eligible for the ranking calculation.
Tournament results are determined according to the displayed criteria and calculation method.
Only Bets closed before the end of the Tournament shall be eligible for the ranking. PLAY N BET SRL accepts no liability if a Bet Slip is rendered ineligible for the ranking due to late closure.
In the event of an error (including, without limitation, translation errors or errors in the odds), particular events (including, without limitation, match abandoned or postponed), PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to fully or partly cancel a Player’s Bets.
If the Tournament results in a tie:
- In the case of a cash prize pool, the winnings will be recalculated for splitting between equal winners. For example, suppose the split is 50% for the winner, 30% for second place and 20% for third place. In the case of two equal winners, the split will be (50% + 30%)/2 = 40% for each equal winner and 20% for third place.
- In the case of non-cash prizes, the tie will be resolved depending on the order in which the points were gained. The Player who first obtained the highest score will be declared the winner, as determined according to the Bet Slip closing date.
PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to cancel a Tournament at its own discretion at any time. Prizes will only be awarded if the Tournament is played out to the end. In the event of cancellation, the costs of taking part in the Tournament will not be reimbursed to Players. However, Bets eligible for a canceled Tournament shall remain valid.
PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right, at its own discretion, to declare a Player’s participation as void in case of suspected abusive or unlawful use of the feature.
PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right, at its own discretion, to reserve a Tournament to a specific group of Players and deny access to persons not invited to take part.
PLAY N BET SRL reserves the right to revise the general terms and conditions of tournaments at any time. The Player will be notified of and prompted to accept such changes when logging in.
Tournament general terms and conditions are available in several languages. In the event of a conflict, the French version shall prevail.
Specific rules per sport
Australian football
a. Unless specified otherwise, all markets shall exclude overtime.
b. If a match is interrupted and resumed within 48 hours after the original kick-off time, all open Bets will be settled on the basis of the final result. Otherwise, all undecided Bets shall be deemed void.
c. Regular 80 Minutes: Unless specified otherwise, markets shall be based on the result at the end of the scheduled 80 minutes of play, including any added injury or stoppage time but excluding extra time.
d. If the odds were offered at a kick-off time that is incorrect (by more than 2 minutes), we reserve the right to cancel all Bets placed.
e. If a match is interrupted or postponed and not resumed within 48 hours after the original kick-off time, all Bets placed shall be deemed void.
f. We reserve the right to cancel any Bets for which the team names or category are displayed incorrectly.
Badminton
a. In the event that a match is not completed, all undecided markets shall be deemed void.
b. If a match is interrupted or postponed and not resumed within 48 hours after the original scheduled starting time, all Bets shall be deemed void.
c. We reserve the right to cancel any Bets if markets remain open with an incorrect score which significantly impacts prices.
d. If a team withdraws, all undecided markets shall be deemed void.
e. We reserve the right to cancel any Bets if the players/teams are displayed incorrectly.
f. Official points deductions will be taken into account for all markets for which the result is still undetermined. Markets for which results have already been established will not take points deductions into account.
Baseball
a. Possible extra innings are included in full game markets, unless otherwise specified.
b. All markets shall be active unless “Listed Pitchers” is mentioned.
c. All markets will be settled based on the final score after 9 innings (8 ½ innings if the home team is winning). Games scheduled to only play 7 innings must complete 7 innings (6 ½ if the home team is ahead) in order to be active.
d. In the event of a shortened game, results shall be official after 5 innings, or 4.5 if the home team is winning at the start of the bottom half of the 5th innings (the “4.5 Innings Rule”) and, unless otherwise stated, bets shall be subject to the completion of said number of innings. In the event that a game is called, if the result is official in accordance with this rule, the winner will be determined by the score after the last full inning completed (unless the home team score to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is suspended). When betting on Total Runs (over/under) or Run Lines, the game must go to 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is winning) in order for selections to be active (unless the total is already over, in which case all bets shall be valid).
e. If a match is played with a different format than the one the prices were based on, we reserve the right to cancel all markets.
f. If a match is interrupted or canceled and not resumed on the same day, all undecided markets shall be deemed void. This rule will not apply to playoff games.
g. If markets remain open with an incorrect score or incorrect match status which has a significant impact on the prices, we reserve the right to cancel any Bets.
h. In the event that a hit and an error occur within the same play, a hit will be considered for settlement purposes.
i. If a player does not show up at the plate again but markets have been offered for the player in question, any undecided markets shall be deemed void.
j. For settlement purposes, a foul ball shall always be considered as a strike.
k. Listed pitchers’ markets shall be deemed void if the starting pitchers differ from the probable pitchers listed at the time when the Bets were registered.
l. Should the mercy rule be applied, for settlement purposes, markets (for both pre-match and live betting) will be settled according to the result as determined by the application of the mercy rule.
m. Markets based on player statistics will be settled according to the MLB’s official website.
Rules of BetBuilder (baseball)
The foregoing baseball rules also apply to BetBuilder, subject to the following exceptions:
i. Selections in hit/batting markets shall be active if the player in question makes at least one plate appearance. If the player does not make a plate appearance, these selections will be regarded as canceled.
ii. Selections in stolen base markets shall be active if the player in question enters the match at any time. Entering the match includes making a plate appearance, playing as a fielder, defensive substitute, pinch runner, etc. If the player fails to enter the match at any time in any capacity, these selections will be regarded as canceled.
iii. Selections in pitcher markets shall be active if the player in question throws at least one pitch during the match. If the player does not do so, these selections will be regarded as canceled.
iv. Player selections shall be deemed active or canceled in accordance with the BetBuilder rules for baseball, as set out under points 1, 2 and 3 above, regardless of the selection’s reference to a specific match period. For example, a selection for a given player to make more than one safe hit during the first 5 innings of a match will be active (and therefore treated as a losing selection) if the player only enters the match as a substitute after the 5th inning and makes plate appearances only from this moment on. However, if the same player gets injured just before the start of the match, is withdrawn from the opening formation (or bench) and never makes a plate appearance, the selection and the Bet will be canceled.
v. If a match that has started is suspended and resumed within 36 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled starting time, all Bets shall remain valid.
vi. If a match that has started is suspended and resumed more than 36 hours after the original scheduled starting time, it will be treated as match abandoned and all Bets will be canceled, except those for which the outcome has already been irrevocably determined. This rule does not apply to playoff matches; if a match is suspended from a playoff series or tournament after it starts, all Bets shall remain valid until the official end of the match in accordance with the rules of the relevant league or organization.
vii. If a baseball match is shortened after the start of the match (e.g., reduced innings due to weather conditions), the following rules shall apply:
- Bets will be canceled if they include at least one selection involving a player who does not take part in the match, in accordance with the rules laid out under point 4 above. The rules laid out below shall all be applied subject to and following the application of this rule.
- If there are no losing selections in a Bet and at least one selection is canceled during a match in which the innings have been reduced after the start, the Bet shall be regarded as canceled. The same rule shall apply if one or more selections are effectively undecided when the number of innings is reduced and could have been either won or lost if the match had proceeded with the full number of innings. For example, if a Bet included one “more than N runs” selection in a shortened match that has finished, where the runs total was less than the required amount, the Bet shall be regarded as canceled. In this case, the total runs selection was still undecided and could have been won or lost; but as the match was shortened, the selection and Bet will be canceled.
- The sole exception to the foregoing rules applies to the result of the Match Winner/Money Line/Face-to-Face market. These results will be treated in accordance with the official result of the match league - if a reduced-innings match still ends in an official victory/defeat in accordance with the rules of the relevant league, the Match Winner market shall be treated as such.
viii. If the match is relocated from its original venue, Bets shall remain valid if the initially designated home and visiting teams retain their status. If the location is changed and the home team and away team switch, Bets placed under the original descriptors shall be canceled.
Basketball
a. Markets shall include overtime unless otherwise stated.
b. If a match is interrupted or postponed and not resumed within 48 hours after the original scheduled starting time, all Bets placed shall be deemed void.
c. If the odds were offered at a starting time that is incorrect (by more than 2 minutes), we reserve the right to cancel all Bets placed.
d. We reserve the right to cancel any Bets if markets remain open with an incorrect score which significantly impacts prices.
e. In the event that a match does not end in a tie, but overtime is played for the purposes of qualification to the next round, the markets will be settled according to the result at the end of regulation time.
f. Markets based on player statistics shall be closed according to the NBA’s official website.
Rules of BetBuilder (basketball)
The foregoing basketball rules also apply to BetBuilder, subject to the following exceptions:
i. All BetBuilder selections on basketball must be winning selections (i.e., no draw, tie or push) for a Bet to be deemed a winning bet. Unless otherwise specified herein, non-winning selections shall be treated as losing selections. If one or more selections in a Bet are canceled for any reason whatsoever (e.g., a selected player does not take part in the match), the entire Bet will be canceled.
For example, selections on a team to win a match where the match ended in a tie after overtime (or regulation time if overtime is not stipulated), even if a tie option was not offered in the BetBuilder Bets, shall be treated as losing selections. This rule does not apply to NBA and NBL matches, as they play successive overtime periods until one team wins; however, it may apply to other basketball leagues and competitions in accordance with the individual competition rules. Similarly, selections for “The first team to score X” where neither team reaches the selected score shall be treated as losing selections, regardless of whether or not it was possible to select the option “Neither team will reach the score of X” as an alternative.
ii. If a match is postponed or not finished, then resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) after the original scheduled starting time, all Bets shall remain valid. All Bets placed on matches that started more than 24 hours after the original scheduled starting time will be canceled. Once the 24 hours have passed, all Bets will be canceled and the corresponding stakes reimbursed.
iii. If the match is abandoned after the start but before its natural end, the following rules shall apply:
- The BetBuilders will be canceled if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the court as an active player. The rules laid out below shall all be applied subject to and following the application of this rule.
- If each selection in a BetBuilder on the match is already a winning selection and the abandonment of the match has no impact on the result of each selection, the entire BetBuilder shall be treated as a winning one. For example, a 2-selection BetBuilder containing an “over N points” selection and a player selected to score over 10.5 points in a match where the required number of points has been reached and the player scored over 10 points before the match was abandoned shall be treated as a winning one. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either of the selections. The same would not apply to an “under N points” selection where the match was abandoned while the total score was still below the selected number, as the abandonment might have had an impact on this result.
- If a single selection in a BetBuilder has been lost and the match is subsequently abandoned, the BetBuilder shall be treated as a losing one, as the result(s) of the selection(s) in question had already been established, regardless of the abandonment. For example, a BetBuilder including a “first player to score” selection in a match where another player scored first and the match was subsequently abandoned shall be treated as a losing one. In this case, the Bet had already been lost and this result could not have been affected by the subsequent abandonment of the match.
- If there is no losing selection in a BetBuilder and at least one selection is canceled at the time the match is abandoned, the BetBuilder shall be regarded as canceled. The same rule shall apply if one or more selections are still undecided when the match is abandoned and could have been either won or lost if the match had been played to the end. For example, a BetBuilder including a “more than N points” selection for an abandoned match in which the total number of points remained below the required number shall be regarded as canceled. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and could have been won or lost; but as the match was abandoned, the Bet will be canceled.

For example, selections on a team to win a match where the match ended in a draw after overtime, even if a draw option was not offered in the BetBuilder, shall be treated as losing selections. Similarly, selections for “The first team to score X” where neither team reaches the selected score shall be treated as losing selections, regardless of whether or not it was possible to select the option “Neither team will reach the score of X” as an alternative. If a quarter, half or match ends without any points being scored, selections for touchdowns or points during the relevant period (for example, a player will score a touchdown during the first half) shall be treated as losing selections.
ii. If one or more selections in a Bet are canceled due to the relevant players’ absence from the match (as laid out in section 4), the entire Bet will be canceled. Selections canceled for other reasons (usually match abandoned or postponed) shall be treated according to the rules laid out in section 6 herein.
iii. All player selections shall be deemed active if the player is involved in at least one action at any time during the relevant match, regardless of the specific match period to which the relevant selection refers. If the player is involved in no actions during the match, selections specific to this player will be canceled. For example, a selection for a given player to score a touchdown in the second half shall be deemed active (and therefore treated as a losing selection) if the player was involved in the first action of the match, got injured and did not rejoin the match, regardless of the player’s non-involvement on the pitch during the second half. If a match is relocated from its original venue, all Bets on the match will be canceled.

If a player does not enter the rink during the match, selections specific to this player will be canceled. For example, if a player selected to score during the 3rd period plays the first two minutes of the match, gets injured and doesn’t come back into the match, this selection will be active (and therefore treated as a losing selection) regardless of the player’s absence during the 3rd period. For example, a BetBuilder including a “more than N goals” selection for an abandoned match in which the goal total remained below the required number shall be regarded as canceled. BetBuilder markets
The rules of BetBuilder Bets for football shall be the same as the Football rules stated above, with the following exceptions:
a. All BetBuilder selections on football must be winning selections (i.e., no draw, tie or push) for a Bet to be deemed a winning bet. A non-winning selection shall be considered as losing selections unless explicitly specified otherwise herein. If one or more selections in a Bet are deemed void for any reason whatsoever (e.g., a selected player does not take part in the match), the entire Bet shall be deemed void.
For example, a selection that “Team A will win during extra time” in a match that didn’t go to extra time shall be deemed a losing selection. The same applies to a selection of “The team that obtains the most corners” when both teams obtain the same number of corners. If a half, full match or specific match period ends without any goals being scored, goalscorer selections such as “First player to score” during the relevant period shall be deemed losing selections.
b. The following periods (1-6) are the match sections that can be selected in conjunction with the markets offered by the BetBuilder. They are defined as follows:
1. 90 minutes - The 90-minute period of full time plus additional time. The match officials determine whether the 90 minutes and additional time have been or need to be played. Any event occurring before the official start of the match, during half-time (any time between the half-time whistle and the start of the second half) or after the final whistle shall not be taken into account.
2. First 10 minutes - The first 10 minutes of the match (from 00:00 to 09:59). Corners, penalties and free kicks awarded during this period but not taken before 10:00 shall not be taken into account. Any event occurring after 10:00 during the match shall not be taken into account. Any event occurring before the official start of the match shall not be taken into account.
3. 1st half - This refers to the first half of the match only, including any injury time minutes played within it. Any event occurring before the official start of the match or during half-time (any time after the half-time whistle is blown) shall not be taken into account.
4. 2nd half - Only the second half of the match, including minutes of additional time played during this period. Any event occurring before the second half (i.e., during the first half or half-time) or after the final whistle is blown shall not be taken into account.
5. Each half - An event occurring during both halves of the match. If the chosen event occurs during neither of the two halves or during only one of them, the selection shall be deemed a losing selection. Any event occurring before the official start of the match, during half-time (any time between the half-time whistle and the start of the second half) or after the final whistle shall not be taken into account.
a) Player selections on “each half” shall be maintained if the player takes part in part of the first half of the match. If the player doesn’t take part in the first half, “each half” player selections will be canceled.
6. Either half - An event that occurs during one half or both halves of the match. If the chosen event does not occur during the match, the selection shall be deemed a losing selection. Any event occurring before the official start of the match, during half-time (any time between the half-time whistle and the start of the second half) or after the final whistle shall not be taken into account.
a) Player selections on “either half” shall be maintained if the player takes part in the match at any time. For example, a selection on a player expected to score during either half shall be considered as winning if the player scores during the first half but is substituted at half-time, or earlier, and does not take part in the second half. Selections on either half for a player who takes no part in the match will be canceled.
7. What else will happen/What else will happen to a team? - You bet on the fact that a given event will happen during the match or to the selected team, such as for example:
a) Penalty awarded - Whether a penalty will be taken (and missed/scored). Penalties awarded but canceled for any reason whatsoever and not taken shall not be considered as a winning selection.
b) Missed penalty - Whether a penalty will be missed. This applies to all penalties taken that do not result in a goal at first strike. If a penalty needs to be retaken, the initial penalty is not included in the official count. Only the result of a completed penalty is applicable. If the ball bounces off the goalposts or goalkeeper and is then struck again to score, this will be considered as a missed penalty.
c) Penalty scored - Will a penalty be scored or not? This applies to all penalties taken that result in a goal at first strike. If the ball bounces off the goalposts or goalkeeper and is then struck again to score, this will be considered as a missed penalty. Penalties awarded but canceled and not subsequently taken shall not be considered as a winning selection.
d) 2+ penalties awarded - Whether two or more penalties will be taken (and missed/scored). Penalties awarded but canceled and not subsequently taken shall not be considered as penalties awarded.
e) 2+ penalties scored - Two or more penalties will be scored. If a penalty is scored but ordered to be retaken, the original penalty shall not count.
f) Goal from free kick - Whether a goal will be scored from a free kick. In the case of all Bets on goals from a free kick, the goal must be scored directly from a free kick. Penalties shall not be taken into account. The goal must be scored by the player who takes the free kick.
g) Goal from a header - Whether a goal will be scored from a header during the match. For a goal from a header, the ball must be struck from the player’s head or shoulder, whether intentionally or otherwise. Own goals are not counted.
h) Goal scored from outside the penalty area - Whether a goal will be scored from outside the penalty area or “18-yard box”. Own goals are not counted. Any other type of goal scored from outside the penalty area shall be taken into account, including free kicks.
i) Own goal - State whether an own goal will be scored.
j) Red card - Whether or not a player will be sent off. Only cards issued while the player is active in the match shall be taken into account. Cards issued after the final whistle is blown shall not be taken into account. The Bet wins under all circumstances where an active player receives a red card, whether directly or through the issuance of two yellow cards. If the red card is overruled by the VAR or otherwise, it will not be considered as a winning selection.
k) Goalpost - Whether the ball hits the goalposts during the match. Cases where the ball bounces directly off the goalposts into the net will not be counted as goalpost hits.
l) Extra time - Whether the match will have to be extended after the 90 minutes, in matches where extra time may be played.
m) Penalties - Whether the match will end in penalties or a penalty shootout, in matches that can be decided by penalties.
n) Clean sheet - Whether the specified team will concede no goals. For example, scores of 0-0, 1-0, 2-0 etc. in favor of your team are winning results.
o) First/last team to score - Which team will score the first or last goal. Goals canceled and/or disallowed shall not be taken into account. If no goal is scored during the match, these shall be deemed losing markets.
p) First/last corner - Which team will be awarded and then take the first/last corner of the match. If no corner is awarded during the specified period, these shall be deemed losing markets.
q) The most corners - Which team will be awarded the most corners during the match. If the number of corners is equal at the end of the match, this selection shall be deemed a losing selection.
r) First/last card - Which team will receive the last red or yellow card during the match. If no cards are issued during the specified period, these shall be deemed losing markets.
s) The most booking points/cards - Which team will receive the most booking points or cards during the match. If no cards are issued during the match or if booking points or cards are equal at the end of the match, these shall be deemed losing markets.
t) Team goalposts - Whether the goalposts will be hit by this team during active play. A team goalpost hit will still be counted even if the defending team hits the ball against its own goalposts. Cases where the ball bounces directly off the goalposts into the net will not be counted as goalpost hits.
8. How will a player score? - You bet on the manner in which the specified player will score, from among the following options (own goals are excluded in all cases):
a) Header - the specified player scores a goal where the ball is considered to have been struck from the player’s head or shoulder, whether intentionally or otherwise.
b) Free kick - the specified player scores for their team directly from a free kick.
c) Outside the penalty area - the specified player scores a goal for their team from outside the penalty area or “18-yard box”. A free kick scored from outside the penalty area counts as a winning selection.
d) Penalty - the specified player scores a penalty for their team. The goal must be scored directly from the penalty. A goal scored from a penalty rebound shall not be considered as a goal scored from a penalty.
